The UNESCO Chair on Social Practices in Intercultural Communication and Social Cohesion, located at the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), jointly organises with the Network of UNESCO Chairs in Communication (ORBICOM) an international conference for the first time this year in Malaysia.

This conference entitled “Digitizing Intercultural Communication – Alienation vs. Humanism in Social Spaces and Media” will take place at Pullman Waterfront Hotel, Miri, Sarawak, from 7 to 9 June 2023. This conference is especially suitable for academics and graduate students who research in the following scientific fields: mass media and communication, digital humanities, information technology, organisational sociology and psychology, international business, human resource management.

All presented papers will have an opportunity for publication in an edited book with UKM Press.
