We are pleased to announce that the mandate of the “UNESCO Chair on Social Practices in Intercultural Communication and Social Cohesion” has been renewed for a period of four (4) years until 2027.

Mr. Shamsul Amri Baharuddin and Mr. Éric Olmedo, professors at the National University of Malaysia, continue their mandates as co-holders of the chair. Mr. Olmedo is well known among Orbicom members for his various involvements and recently for organizing the most recent Orbicom conference held in June 2023 in Miri, located on the island of Borneo in Malaysia.
