Ms. Nino Chikovani is doctor of Historical Sciences, specialization – Cultural Studies.  She’s a professor of Cultural Studies, Institute of Cultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Iv.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and Head of the UNESCO Chair of Intercultural Dialogue, Iv.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Her research interests are:

• Identity problems in multicultural societies
• Problems of intercultural and interreligious dialogue
• Culture and religion in the Caucasus
• Problems of collective and historical memory, perception and representation of history
