From September 2018, Dr. Koné Mamadou Tadiou is Assistant Professor in the school of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the International University of Grand Bassam. He previously worked for several years as a research scientist in Montreal, Québec, Canada and Boston, MA, USA. From June 2002 to May 2007, he was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the Department of computer science and engineering, Université Laval, Québec. From April 1990 to June 2002, Dr. Koné worked successively at Panasonic Tokyo Information and Communications Research Laboratory and the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) as a Research Associate.
Currently a professor of computer at the International University of Grand-Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa.
The World Wide Web is my main research interest. In particular, I do research on the Semantic Web, Linked Data, Cloud Computing, Software agent technology, The Internet of Things, RFID, Near Field Communications (NFC), eGovernment and eCommerce.
I have published books and written numerous articles and contributions to international workshops, conferences and scientific journals. I am also an active member of several scientific program committees. In particular, I was the principal organizer of the first Semantic Web symposium in Canada in June 2006.
