The ORBICOM Annual Conference 2025 will take place in Strasbourg, France, from September 29 to October 1, 2025. This event will address the theme “Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Remediation, Ethics, and Inclusion”, focusing on the risks and opportunities associated with generative artificial intelligence (AI) in communication.

Participants are required to align their contributions with one of the 10 thematic axes, each dedicated to a specific topic related to the central theme.

The event is organized by several partners, including the UNESCO Chair “Journalistic and Media Practices” at the University of Strasbourg, in collaboration with institutions such as ITI LiRiC, the Robert Schuman IUT, and other academic departments and research centers.

Researchers and UNESCO Chairs worldwide are invited to submit their scientific contributions by February 1, 2025, through the following link: https://orbicom-2025.sciencesconf.org.

Key Dates :

  • Submission deadline: Extended to February 1, 2025
  • Return with advice from the scientific committee: March 1, 2025
  • Submission of full papers: May 1, 2025
  • Return with advice from the scientific committee: June 15, 2025
