ORBICOM, in collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture, co-hosted an interactive workshop as part of UNESCO’s Digital Learning Week in Paris.

Dedicated to the transformations of the “Teacher–Student” pedagogical relationship in the era of generative artificial intelligences (GenAI), the activity allowed participants to discover and test ComparIA, a simulation tool designed to critically compare different GenAI models.

Through this experimentation, participants were invited to collectively reflect on the educational challenges raised by these technologies. Discussions notably focused on:

  • the new modalities introduced by GenAI in the traditional relationship between students and teachers;
  • their impacts on learning, teaching, and the co-construction of knowledge;
  • the integration of AI into the lifecycle of a course, from preparation to evaluation, including the collaborative creation of academic content.

The workshop highlighted the importance of a collective and reflective approach in the face of the rapid transformations of digital education.

The discussions will continue in Strasbourg, on the occasion of Orbicom’s annual conference.
