Description and Mandate of the Chair

This year, 2022 and 2023, the activities of the chair are focused on the development of curricula for teaching Artificial Intelligence, from preschool to elementary school. This work is being developed for the Ministry of Education of Brazil and also for the State Government of Rio Grande do Sul.

It is a core curriculum for teaching AI. The results are web pages, textbooks and courses in Mooc format. The work involves a research project and extension and training of human resources (teacher of elementary schools). The team is multidisciplinary and involves scholarship students.
