Stella Angova is an Assoc. Prof. of online media. She is an author of book about media transformation, rise of online media and professional change of the journalism work. She is also co-author of the books “Economic and professional transformations in the convergent media environment”, “Mapping digital media content. Practices for creating a new media narrative”, “Media literacy” etc.

She has a vast amount of experience in both professional journalism and the academic field. Her main topic as a reporter was education and science and later she has involved them in her academic career. Her university courses are in the area of online media and a lot of topics include digital skills and information literacy. Most of her research papers are dedicated to media education, media content, media pluralism, and digital skills.
