He is a member of UNESCO-Spain’s Communication Group, and he is also a member of the Advisory Board for Andalusia’s Second Modernization Plan (Andalusian Regional Government).

He has been or still is a member of numerous scientific, editorial and drafting committees for publications of an academic nature or interest. He has taught doctoral degree courses in various European and American universities.
