Dr. Keisuke Kamimura is Professor of Japanese at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Daito Bunka University in Japan. His research is focused on the overarching issues across policy, technology and language. While he published  academic papers on Internet governance, the digital divide, and linguistics, he also contributed to various non-academic and commercial research projects on telecommunications industry and the Internet.

Among his works, he coauthored the chapter on Japan for the Digital Review of Asia Pacific (2005-2006, 2007-2008 and 2009-2010 editions) and participated in the survey for the Comparison of Privacy and Trust Policies in the Area of Electronic Communications in 2007.
